Airport Gateway Motels

With designer bathrooms, and a newly refurbished bar and restaurant, the Airport Gateway Motel in Roydvale Ave is now the perfect place for fresh visitors to the Garden City or a relaxing stay for those off on holiday.

The Airport Gateway Motels was a design and building project which was constructed in 2 stages to work around the clients existing operations and budget. The construction consisted of concrete floors and balcony, block walls, tray roofing and thermally broken aluminium joinery. The exterior was finished in stylish Hardie’s Cladding.

The interior design included purpose made joinery, aluminium doors, LED electrical outlets and fittings, and custom sound system. The designer bathrooms in crisp white feature high gloss tiling and double mirrors.

The landscaping had to fit Council Resource Consent requirements, and included working around some large protected trees.

The project scope also extended to a refurbishment of the existing offices and the facilities building. A fire upgrade and refurbishment was also carried out in the bar and restaurant area.
