Substantial alteration and strengthening project.

Completed in 2015, this project entailed substantial alterations and strengthening of an existing warehouse.

The first phase involved demolition of the roof structure, cladding and windows, and all internal walls.  Following this was the installation of new concrete footings, mass pads and structural steel frames to strengthen the existing structure.

Outside, the roof structure and was rebuilt and external walls and parapets altered and extended where required. The existing cladding was replaced with Kingspan panels and new aluminium joinery was installed. The Kingspan installation proved to be quite complex due to working around the structural steel and the various profiles and colours.

Inside the new office and amenities area was constructed including toilet area, kitchen and offices.  All new wall and ceiling linings and floor coverings were fitted, providing a practical, hardwearing and comfortable space for the staff. Electrical, plumbing, fire and mechanical services were altered and upgraded.
