Pescatore Restaurant - 2009The George Hotel - 50 Park Terrace, Christchurch
 Designed by Dalman Architecture, Pesacatore Restaurant is luxurious and modern, offering a minimalist approach to formal dining that is thoughtfully comfortable and uncluttered. Finishes and linings were of the highest quality and attention to detail was paramount. Interior claddings included a specialist mirror design, timber panelling and designer wallpapers.The initial program for the project was  seven weeks which was subsequently reduced to five weeks. The tight time frame and strict noise restraints, combined with the many trades working in such confined work space posed a huge challenge for our interiors team. The finished product is a testament to their skill and hard work.

Aikmans Bar - 2008Aikmans Road, Papanui  Aikmans Bar was a NZ Retail Design Awards 2008 Category Winner and also won Gold in the Masterbuilders Awards 2008, Commercial Project category. The architect was Identity Group and the project involved the full refurbishment of an existing bar. The project involved much more than your standard fit-out project, highlighting the benefits of engaging a building company with both interior fit-out and commercial expertise.  Demolition of existing bar was required including some external walls, the floor and the exterior courtyard area. A new concrete floor slab was poured throughout with new exterior walls including structural steel framing to support existing roof structure. The interior fitout consisted of a new raised timber floor, linings, floor coverings, bar joinery and fittings, restrooms and kitchen. Finishing materials included American White Oak flooring, vinyl and tiles with paint and wallpaper to walls. The exterior cladding was Rockcote plaster over hardies, and American Oak. The new courtyard included coloured concrete, outdoor fire, louvers, lighting, electric heaters and a sound system. The George Hotel Accommodation Refurbishment - 200950 Park Terrace, Christchurch This contract was to refurbish 36 rooms throughout 3 floors and to various levels ranging from Executive suites, Executive Twins through to King suites. The contract period was extremely tight so the project management was critical, and to compound matters various levels remained in use necessitating careful programming of trades that required concrete cutting, skill saws, ramset guns and dyna-drills. The George is now a 5 star rated hotel and has state of the art power monitoring and communication installations and has been awarded New Zealand’s leading “Boutique Hotel”. Our company is proud to have completed these contracts to such a high standard and under demanding timeframes. Adidas Shop Fitout - 2009Westfield Shopping Mall, Riccarton This was a new 250m² retail fit-out in the Riccarton Mall that incorporated some materials relatively new to the New Zealand market. The design was done in Australia as was the tendering process and administration.Part of the shopfront was finished with an Ardex plaster system not previously used in Christchurch and a specialist applicator from Australia was brought in to assist local tradesmen to ensure it was completed to the desired effect. All shop fittings where brought in from outside NZ and assembled on site. The shop is bright, well lit and uncluttered giving the public plenty of room to browse.
